During the last few days there has been an inevitable escalation of the organised and extreme violence of Israeli settlers, and Israeli security forces against the Palestinian population in the West Bank, Palestine.
Daily raids, executions, setting fire to homes, land and vehicles, killing of livestock, expulsions of whole villages, severe violence, and the widespread blocking of roads and siege of villages have become the norm.
This dire reality is the result of the impunity granted to the Israeli genocidal occupation and ongoing ethnic cleansing by all means.
European Jews for Palestine (EJP) and its member groups across Europe call on our governments and politicians, the European Union, and diplomats based in Israel and Palestine to speak out and act.
Three years of genocide in Gaza should be enough to demonstrate the intentions of the Israeli regime.
An urgent call for action
The isolation of Israel—cutting all cooperation, on all levels—must be applied without delay, to send a clear message and to impede these ongoing criminal policies, lawlessness, and degradation of humanity. It is a legal and moral imperative.
We will all suffer the consequences of the indifference of the international community, including the European Commission, and the lack of effective action to protect the Palestinian population and the basic human right to life.
To save Palestine is to save humanity. Act now.

To the United Nations, the UN Security Council, the International Criminal Court, the UN Human Rights Council, humanitarian and human rights organisations, the international media, world leaders, and every person who believes that every human life has equal value:
This is not a political statement. It is not an attempt to defend one side or condemn another.
It is a humanitarian cry from people who fear that the loss of innocent lives is becoming an accepted reality.
What happened in Tell
On Friday morning, the village of Tell, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, witnessed a devastating tragedy. According to local residents, the area came under attack by groups of Israeli settlers, prompting families to leave their homes in an attempt to protect their children, their homes, and their property.
During the violence, gunfire was exchanged, and six members of the same extended family—brothers and cousins—lost their lives, while others were injured, leaving an entire community in profound grief.
According to eyewitness accounts, these events unfolded while Israeli military forces were present in the area. Residents believe that the forces on the ground had the authority and the capability to intervene, prevent the attacks, protect civilians, and stop the violence, but that this did not occur.
If confirmed, these allegations require an independent, transparent, and impartial international investigation to establish the facts and ensure accountability.
Universal rights
We are not asking for special treatment. We ask only for the universal rights guaranteed to every human being:
- The right to life.
- The right to safety.
- The right of civilians to be protected.
- The right of children to grow up without fear of violence.
Today, many communities across the West Bank continue to live under fear and uncertainty:
- Families fear for their safety.
- Children wake up to the sound of gunfire.
- Farmers fear reaching their own land.
- Ordinary civilians struggle simply to live in peace.
What the international community must do
We urgently call upon the international community to:
- Take immediate action to protect civilians.
- Deploy an independent international fact-finding mission.
- Ensure accountability for all attacks against civilians.
- Take effective measures to prevent further violence.
- Use every lawful diplomatic and humanitarian means to safeguard innocent lives.
Silence does not save lives. Delay costs lives.
History remembers not only those who committed atrocities, but also those who had the power to prevent them and failed to act.
Before it is too late:
- Protect civilians.
- Save lives.
- Ensure justice and accountability.
Human dignity must never depend on nationality, religion, or ethnicity. Every innocent life deserves equal protection.

“Urgent call to the international community to take immediate action to stop Israel’s violence and prevent pogroms by settler militias and the Israeli army across the West Bank.
In recent days, violence by settler militias, enabled and supported by the Israeli army, has escalated across the West Bank, including the torching and destruction of Palestinian property, and the forced expulsion of families and communities. These attacks have been met with silence and inaction from much of the international community, allowing the violence to continue and intensify.
Today’s event in the village of Tell (Area B), when a settlers’ ‘tour’ in the village ended with the killing of at least four Palestinians and one settler and several people injured, is leading to escalated violence in the area, with settlers, ministers, and Knesset members calling for further revenge attacks which already started across the West Bank. Experience shows that these events can escalate quickly into mass pogroms when met with silence.
We call the international community to act now. Immediate pressure must be placed on the Government of Israel to stop further attacks, prevent pogroms and further killings, and ensure the protection of Palestinians, in accordance with Israel’s obligations under international law.”
